The CDL Driver Apprentice holds a Class B Commercial Driving Permit and will complete the Federally required CDL instruction and training to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle. The Heavy Truck Mechanic Apprentice works alongside a knowledgeable Casella Waste Diesel Technician to learn and further develop skills. The Apprentice provides maintenance, repairs vehicles and equipment, and mainly focuses on preventative maintenance and maintaining the safety of all vehicles and equipment. The Diesel Technician Apprentice will continue in this role until they compete all training requirements.
